IV sedation is administered directly into the bloodstream through a vein. It allows you to stay awake during treatment but enhances feelings of relaxation and calmness. Some patients don’t remember the procedure after the sedation wears off.

Oral Sedation

Oral sedation involves the administration of a sedative through a pill or tablet that you take orally. It can help you feel more comfortable during treatment while still allowing you to respond to all verbal cues from your dentist.

Nitrous Oxide

Nitrous oxide is a safe, odorless gas that is administered through a mask and can help calm you during dental treatment. It yields temporary euphoric effects that quickly wear off once the mask is removed.
